What is KAPOSI's SARCOMA?

 

 

Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) is a form of cancer that most often affects the skin. It appears in lesions of the skin or spots that look like bruises. KS is the most common cancer in HIV-infected persons. KS frequently affects the skin but can also involve the gut, lungs, and other internal organs, especially in persons with advanced HIV disease.
